Nice win, u guys played smart and pounded the ball inside. We had no answers for your bigs. If u guys limit turnovers and hit some 3's u could go real deep in the tournament. Nice to see your seniors get rewarded for sticking it out for 4 years. Good luck and I really hope u beat Sparty (can't stand that whiner Izzo).

Thanks. Hope you guys make and have success in tournament. Team deserves it.

lol. Props to Beeline for making Michigan somewhat competitive most years with a roster of mid-major scrubs. I have a sneaking suspicion the Walverines are primed to hang another NIT banner in the Aviary.

Yeah you mean mid major scrubs that took us to the final game against Louisville and the starting five that all got drafted into the NBA. Injuries make a huge difference, year to year but you won't hear Beilien use that as an excuse, the angry midget izzo on the other hand can't stop talking about it.

UH NO, they do NOT deserve to be in the field. It would be a crock of you know what if Michigan makes it. THEY have horrible double digit losses that should strike them from even being discussed beyond today's game and the bludgeoning we put to them. Please don't be foolish in assuming that you know what constitutes their enlightenment in the committees eyes. You are just trying to make Michigan fans feel cozy after they complimented our Boilers, and for that, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Outside or Rutgers and Minny I think the other big teams are better than others that will be in

Curious why u think the other bubble teams "deserve" to be IN over michigan? We did beat Purdue, IU, MD and Texas and no bad losses. Honest question by me.

Sorry to see you got rapped by the badger. He has little respect for anyone on the board, including Boiler fans. I hope you make it to the NCAA championship tourney. One benefit is that the B10 would get more revenue with more members making the tourney. But I respect the kids on your team and your coach. They seem to represent the definition of college student athletes.

Are you actually an MSU troll? You seem to promote them as the best team around every chance you get. You have an obvious hatred of UM. Sounds like you are not the IU troll some think you are. Instead, I think you might be an MSU fan in disguise. Hum...

Thanks and good luck getting in. Outside of Painter, Beilein is my favorite Big Ten coach. I'm almost always pulling for him and your basketball program unless Purdue needs them to lose for some reason.

Thanks, u have guys have class program as well and I wish MICH could get the same home fan support u get for your program. At end of the day, if we don't make tourney it's our own fault for putting that decision in the hands of the committee. Beat sparty. Boiler up!

Touche. MSU does love the injury excuse.

I was complementing Beeline. He took a bunch of nobodies to the NCAA championship game several years ago and finishes in the top half of the Big Ten more years than not. Has there ever been a single player on the Michigan roster outside of the white center (MaGary?) that any legitimate program would have considered offering? MSU slow-played that Walton kid and might have offered, but never made a real run at him. Beeline molds scrubs into competitors. Props.

He's exhausted from being at today's game and watching it on TV at the same time. Pretty sure he is a fraud. You guys have a better resume than some of the other bubble teams, you should get in

Michigan has no business in the tourney, they are outside looking in and if they could have done ANYTHING in the game today, they might have had a chance, but they were exposed by Purdue as frauds. On a positive note for Michigan fans, you exposed Indiana as frauds. Nice Job. Purdue > Michigan State by 3 to 5.

Wow you really are a low-information fan. Zach Irvin and GR3 were both highly rated recruits.

Grob3 was a high 4/5 star. Stauskas was offered by Kansas. Yes, beilien does try and recruit players in the 50-100 range. The one and dones are not his thing or strength in recruiting, I know sparty has a top class coming in next year, wonder how the program will respond when these kids jump to the league after one or two years. Izzo also seems to have a bunch of seniors on the team every year. One and dones really mess the program up once they leave.

We all know Michigan to be a bunch of charlatans, in part, this is due to Caris LeVert being injured, and for that, you could say that is legit. But for you to say they belong in the tourney....my first statement holds true. Have you guys not seen the bracketology at all or do you have blinders on???

UM should be in. I don't even understand why it is even in question. On a side note I was in Madison and ran into your team at the Marriott before the Wiscy game. My wife and I had breakfast with an assistant that had Purdue roots, grad qssistant under Rose, he saw my Purdue jacket and came over and started talking and we invited him to join us. Classy, polite players.
Good luck.
Oops O think it was the Sheriton. Said he was a grad assistant under Rose for the final four run. I forgot his frickin name.
I'll figure it out if anyone really cares.

I really respect Beilein both on and off the court. How he handled the Austin Hatch situation by honoring his scholarship was very classy. During the game he may complain about calls but he doesn't "work" the officials like his counterpart in the state of Michigan.

I think you are talking about Meyer who was an asst under Dakich. He and Dakich sat behind me at a game to watch Elston play at Tipton.

The Wolverines have needed last second heroics in each of their two Big Ten Tournament victories, and Friday’s win over Indiana was Michigan’s fourth Top 50 win of the season.

That quartet of wins is terrific, but they are also the Wolverines’ only victories against the Top 100. They are 4-11 against the Top 100 and 10-11 against the Top 150 with no bad losses, and at this point the low number of quality wins is the main thing working against them.

There are two other potential red flags. Of the 11 losses, all but one have come by at least nine points and nine have come by double digits. While margin of victory isn’t directly taken into account, it’s a tough trend to totally ignore. The other concern is the non-conference strength of schedule, which ranks around 190th. Outside of a win over Texas, the best non-con victories came against North Carolina State and Elon.

Nobody wanted any of those guys. Glenn Robinson III blew up late and started to attract some interest. Those other guys are MAC level.

Glenn Robinson III can get any minutes even on an average or below average Pacers team. I think it's a big mistake when they jump ship early. The big money will elude them and they'll end up in the D-league

Yawn...we've had more than several kids leave early over the years. We keep rolling. Depth young wolvie.

ha ha, no doubt. recruit and you won't have that problem. Painter recruits deep, just look at the minutes that HAAS is getting, hardly any. He is like a Luke Fisher and thus, he would be starting on just about any other team except for the big elites (kansas, KY, syracuse, NC, Duke, UCLA, Arizona, Florida, UCONN, & Villy)

Ain't the recruiting bro it's the injuries to your best players and seniors (Levert and albrecht). How'd Sparty do when Valentine was out hurt? Exactly my point. Good luck in tourney, this could be your year.

michigan beat IU (when it mattered most) without LeVert and without AlBrecht, AND with a kid by the name of Dakich on the team (omfg)......single handedly took Indiana from a 3 to a 5 and into the hands of Chattanooga and Kentucky --- season over, LOL, great job Michigan!!! woop woop

Lol. Hate Crean but obviously not as much as you guys in this board. Good luck in the tourney and hopefully u guys go deep. I got Purdue in the final 4 in my bracket.

Yes Dakich. Omfg is right, tell me not having senior albrecht makes a difference there. That's why Walton is so beat up, has has to play 39 minutes every game.
