What an explosive back Walker III is for Mich St! 100+ yards and 2 TDs in the first quarter...

264 yards and 4 TDs on the night...wow...

TD runs - (75, 3yds - 1Q; 5yds - 3Q; and 6yds - 4Q). Tuned out toward the latter half - can't decide whether I was more impressed from Michigan State (leaning that way) or less impressed from Northwestern. Thinking it's going to be Wisconsin/Iowa, the favorites in the West, just from what I've seen this first week.....let's see what the Boilers can do tonight. Boat-rowers will be tough for the Boilers again, too.

Also, NW is vanilla on offense. Can go further than 5-7 beyond LOS. Geez!

NW offense has been vanilla for some time. They’ve usually relied on breaking some big plus in the running game.

Mich St looks to be somewhat improved. The RB gave the offense some explosiveness. I’d like to see a few more games before really making a judgement on how good the teams are.

I’d say at this moment Purdue could beat either team if we played well. I would worry about Mich St being too physical for us. But NW looks very beatable.

psu will give UW an early loss though

Could be, PaBoiler.....locked in a scoreless "duel" right now, and the Nittany Lions just blocked a Badgers FG attempt. Granted, I've probably seen less than what other posters have, but what I've seen so far this year from the entire conference has been a tad disappointing.....it is early though.

Every year Wisky starts out slow and gets stronger as the year goes on. Just think it's too tough of an opponent to start off with.
