I believe you meant the mellifluous mooing of Beth Mowins.I hadn't realized he'd had that many yards, Pat.....been enchanted under the melodious musings of Beth Mowins.
Have only seen 3rd and now 4th Qtr. Either NW defense is not as strong as usual or MI St offense has improved quite a bit. What an explosive back Walker III is for Mich St! 100+ yards and 2 TDs in the first quarter...
Also, NW is vanilla on offense. Can go further than 5-7 beyond LOS. Geez!Have only seen 3rd and now 4th Qtr. Either NW defense is not as strong as usual or MI St offense has improved quite a bit.
264 yards and 4 TDs on the night...wow...

psu will give UW an early loss thoughTD runs - (75, 3yds - 1Q; 5yds - 3Q; and 6yds - 4Q). Tuned out toward the latter half - can't decide whether I was more impressed from Michigan State (leaning that way) or less impressed from Northwestern. Thinking it's going to be Wisconsin/Iowa, the favorites in the West, just from what I've seen this first week.....let's see what the Boilers can do tonight. Boat-rowers will be tough for the Boilers again, too.
psu will give UW an early loss though
Every year Wisky starts out slow and gets stronger as the year goes on. Just think it's too tough of an opponent to start off with.Could be, PaBoiler.....locked in a scoreless "duel" right now, and the Nittany Lions just blocked a Badgers FG attempt. Granted, I've probably seen less than what other posters have, but what I've seen so far this year from the entire conference has been a tad disappointing.....it is early though.
