Merry Christmas, everyone

Merry Christmas to everyone from Minnesota with a some what White Christmas. Really looking forward to Friday and Boiler Up and don't let up until the end of the game.

If you live in central Indiana have you ever been to St. Elmo''s Fire for their shrimp cocktail? Have never had 's steak there but use to go there between games at the Indiana State Football games for the shrimp. The best.

St Elmos and Roanoke, IN's Joseph Decuis are the best steaks you'll have in Indiana. Hands down. The Elmos shrimp sauce can be bought in many butcher shops in the state. If your nose is stuffed up, it'll clear it!

Also: Bonge's Tavern, Grain's 'N Grill, and the various Don Hall's in Ft Wayne.
Grains and Grill might be a bit over-rated. They've read their press clippings way too much lately and put too much into their average micro brewery. The last two steaks I've had there pretty much sucked. The Fox's Trail in Kokomo does a great job on red meat. Payne's British Pub at Interstate 69 and 22 is great too. I remember Bonge's when sardine cans were the ashtray's and there were holes in the floor.

And there's no better place in Indiana for seafood than Paula's on Main in Ft. Wayne.

Been there for the steaks. Go once in a while, but not a fan of shrimp. But, I do like those little Parmesan crackers they have.
