"Obviously it fits a need for us, gives us a point guard with experience, a long point guard we feel can play the position and really help us not only offensively, but on the defensive end. That was important, to get somebody who can play on both ends and has some experience.
"Overall, I just feel like he fits with our program. He's a good person, a hard-working guy, a competitive guy and those things are really important, because this is a different transition. You are who you are with these fifth-year transfers and you don't have time for development as you would as a freshman in college or even a junior college. … This is such a quick transition that his experience and his maturity will really help him.
