Enjoyable interview conducted by Jim Jackson, who was subbing for Eisen.
Painter is his usual affable self. Jackson is pure class; he is genuinely happy for Painter and Keady in particular and the program in general.

Jimmy has always had a soft spot for Gene. Bardo talks the same way about him. Lots of respect from those older players for how tough and good Gene was.
Couple of interesting things CMP mentioned in his presser today on BTN.
“If you have a center who’s 6’9” 250, he’s big. Now imagine one who is 7 inches taller and 50 lbs bigger.”

Painter has upped his game in interviews and press conferences this year. If he gets a National Championship under his belt we could be in for some entertaining years!
I'd take both over the joker (Lapas?) who did the games last weekend 100/100. He was so bad....I'd even take Shon Morris
