Anyone listen to the Hammer Down podcast? Willard screamed at the Purdue scorers table calling them cheaters? He said that TJD is more dominating than Edey, what’s up with that guy? I now have a least favorite Big Ten team, Maryland!

Nobody complains about the last place team. Purdue is now the 800 pound gorilla in the Big Ten.
I "think" I may understand his comment on TJD? I do not have any background on Willard as far as playing style. If pressing is a personal bias or approach he has used extensively rather than just seeing the players at Maryland...which I'm guessing he does, then he favors an athletic player in his own recruiting. I think most would agree that TJD is an elite athlete and can see how a coach that sees teh game more athletic would favor TJD over Zach if only viewing the previous 5 games or so in his career...
He's a Rick Pitino protégé, so pressing likely comes from that. Hopefully he doesn't have a broken moral compass like Rick.

There's no reason for him to talk down TJD going into the game. Why give IU locker room material? He's got nothing to lose by talking him up. If he has a monster game and IU wins, "See, I told you so." If MD contains him, "See, what a great job we did on the best player in the country."
In my decades of experiencing coaches .... he lacks self-confidence. Has to find others to blame for his incompetence. A death knell.

I think he is wound a little tight , if you know what I mean....watched him in the game and thought this dude must be a joyride when he walks in the front door....analitis.
Purdue has had a 7-2, 270 Pounds center working out with them for a year.

It's his opinion going into a game against TJD. I'm sure he'll have high praise for Zach before Purdue's game there, too.

So I watched the video and yes he can stroke it and saw that pregame last game. However, he didn't play strong in the posts in the video...where zach was trying to dunk everything in his earlier videos. Tonight before the game Brantley was doing the Mikan drill and it was right hand, left hand and then dunk abou three or so reps and then rotate and he was laying it up there around the rim and dunking more forceful. I just hope somehow Purdue can land Flory and they can split some minutes because each is much different from the other...
