Followed by a graduate assistant coach's position, I would guess. IIRC, Cuonzo wanted him to walk on and learn the game under Painter to prepare him for coaching.

He just graduated with a 3.53 in mechanical engineering, so he may have his sights set a bit higher !

He and Cuonzo have both stated he’s got no desire or plans to enter coaching when he’s done playing. Obviously that can change but that’s what has previously been said.

I thought the same thing initially. I hope Chase enjoys playing under his dad.
