Not sure what our QB scholly situation is but iirc we recruited this guy hard last year. High upside dual threat 4* out of Texas. He doesn’t seem to want to sit and wait his turn and our immediate QB situation seems like a lock so are we inclined to reach back out?

I just pa.. I guess I don’t get why people can’t just understand that 99% of the time when a high school guy doesn’t sign with us.. that’s it lol. We have Oconnell this year, then mike alaimo and Brady freaking Allen. Yeah if we had Caleb terbush again this news would be a real bonanza lol. why the h*ll would we want to?

The kid won't commit to a program, and bolts because of competition. And, we would want him to compete at Purdue?

Our "QB scholly situation" is pretty clear, with a solid SR starter and at least 2 talented underclassmen.
I don't think he'd like it here.

I can't recall ever having posted one negative thing about Burton, and I'd be surprised if I did because I can't recall having ever thought on negative thing about him.

Clearly, he was immensely talented in HS, but that talent has not translated to the college game. Not sure if it's ability, confidence, or some other reason.

that would be me, although I said nothing negative about Burton, just said I would rather have a RB in his place next year. As far as Hornsby, no room at the Inn for him although he is quicker than a cat running thru Chinatown. Saw him in the Bowl game vs psu and just asked the board didn't we have interest in him.

I don’t have anything against Burton whatsoever .. I hope the young man flourishes.. but the programs that are ahead of us in stature have probably always taken a more bottom line approach to things.

even bad Ohio state in my life would probably not tolerate a receiver just going to school there for four years. And likewise, Burton would be moving on.

BUT I think brohm has earned the presumption that I shut the f up and trust him
