Anyone know his current size?
According to HUDL, he is currently 6'4 240 with a 4.72 40 yard dash. Has the body to add needed weight and hopefully increased flexibility/speed around the edge.Anyone know his current size?
So you’re saying we have a chance....247Sports currently lists him as a 100% chance of committing to us. Take that for what it is worth.
I also think he may end up a DT.According to HUDL, he is currently 6'4 240 with a 4.72 40 yard dash. Has the body to add needed weight and hopefully increased flexibility/speed around the edge.Anyone know his current size?
Watching his film from HUDL, I see a few things:
1. Uses his hands very well to keep the OL at distance and uses that distance to be able to make plays.
2. Has a good rip move to the outside during a pass rush. Used that move frequently and didn't appear to have any other moves (didn't see highlights of a bull rush or a swim).
3. His hips are a little stiff but that can be improved upon once on campus. He might end up being a DT similar to Gelen Robinson.
4. Uses good leverage when initiating contact with the OL most times which allows him to gain the advantage when holding blocks to make a play at the line or down the line of scrimmage.
5. Good effort throughout the play.
6. Projects mostly as a DE but possibly DT if he bulks up to near 290-300 pounds in Holt's scheme. Does not project in to the Ram position (stand up DE/LB) as he does not appear to have the lateral quickness needed.
7. A very good player Purdue can use as depth in his first year and a potential 3 year starter given a full year of strength and conditioning along with selective snaps and packages in his freshman year.

So is he still on campus today?
Yes, right in the middle of bowl preparation so that he can get a sense of the coaching staff, players, and practice schedule. He will also be able to tour the facilities while the team is there.No. Just is scheduled for his first official to Purdue. I believe it’s December 15th weekend.
Because thats his Alma Mater.Seems like Brohm loves that school. Hopefully Purdue keeps getting players from there for years to come.
