Duck's recruiting strategy always interests me. The last time they won a championship is 1939 and they got into final 4 last year. But, recently, they have had capability to recruit lot of 5 stars players.

Oregon is a case where I think that donor money clearly has made a difference in multiple sports.

I think donor name has just as much to do with it as the money. So many young athletes are Nike fanatics.

Being at Oregon would be Morgan Burke's wet dream come true. Lot's of national titles in sports like cross country, track, etc...but nothing in the big sports like football, basketball, and baseball (relatively speaking). Phil Knight has said he wants a major national title at Oregon before he dies....and he is doing all he can to bring it to them through his donations.
