Maybe they hit it off?
AH HA, now That is vely intelestingCarsen's teammate on team USA,
Maybe they hit it off?
And you say this based on what information? Not going to happen don't even know why you posted it
Carsen plays a role here...
You must be a joy to hang out with in real lifeNot going to happen don't even know why you posted it
Langford was also on that USA team with Carsen...to no avail.
I used to defend 73 but he is just such an overly negative person I just don't even care if he is right or wrong. He's not alone either. You must be a joy to hang out with in real life
His draw full of sock puppets and magic 8 balls. And you say this based on what information?
typo??? just plain old magic balls?????His draw full of sock puppets and magic 8 balls.
Based on his imminent asshattery. And you say this based on what information?
He did toss him a nice alley oop in the sparing minutes Romeo played.Langford was also on that USA team with Carsen...to no avail.
Based on him being a loser IU slug. And you say this based on what information?
That is a somewhat redundant statement.Based on him being a loser IU slug.
Langford was also on that USA team with Carsen...to no avail.
maybe out of respect for Carsen, Langford decided to take his games elsewhere. I'm not saying Langford feared the competition. But if Langford did come to Purdue, he'd be taking a chunk of Carsen's and Eastern's minutes.
Both Rivals and 24/7 list King as a small forward. they also list him as 6'7/6'8. I'd love this guy to replace V Edwards; even more so if Painter played him at Sf. I looked at his 8 choices, and at Sf, all of the other teams have at least 3 other players at his projected position, and Purdue reflects only one - I'm guessing Wheeler. I really want this guy, even more than Hunter. I've often said your best recruiter is a player. Here's hoping Carsen can influence him.
A related note, when looking up his stats, I noticed Williams was listed at only 6'8. both Castleton and Dow were listed at 6'10. is Williams being projected as a PF? with Taylor and Haarms projected as centers?
love your post. Maybe GBI is hiring...Nice to see we are expanding our recruiting even more. I think it is a win that we are even in his Final 8. I don't expect to land him. However, to go into Jersey City (essentially) NYC and to make the final 8 of a East Coast city kid says a lot about who we think we could potentially land and what we think about ourselves. I like it. That in and of itself is a change and a win IMO. We are probably playing up Biggie and how he was a 5 star and how we played through him and he's in the NBA as a 20 year old. Purdue = great facilities, great trainers, great coaches, fewer distractions (than say another big city - eg staying at home) to fully concentrate on his dream and we have data to show that we can get you there.
Going up against some pretty heavy hitters (Kansas, UCONN), but the others, I think we are on par with as far as program quality.
Agree with pharout in that he starts from Day 1 on a team (probably as the center piece) on a team with good quality around him (yet nothing that could potentially distract not playing through him). It would be a coup to land him, but nice to see that we are spreading our reach and going for a select few of these blue chip recruits.
in North Jersey, Seton Hall still is big for hoops and I think play at MSG which is a thrill for any one. It's a Joisey thing. Now THAT is an eclectic final 8. Oregon has a need, but is a continent away. Maryland has two 4-stars at that position, one in his class. NC State has a huge need for him. Seton Hall has NO ONE ahead of him, but ... really??? Kansas has lower ranked players ahead of him. UConn has little ahead of him. And us. Congrats to the coaches. I'm proud to be in his final 8. It looks like he is using great logic in his decision.
HA, thanks, I have a friend in Joisey - never understand the things he does - at least now I have an explanation.in North Jersey, Seton Hall still is big for hoops and I think play at MSG which is a thrill for any one. It's a Joisey thing.
Had to laugh at the Joisey thing. Friend from Purdue was Upper Saddle River and so Joisey hit home.in North Jersey, Seton Hall still is big for hoops and I think play at MSG which is a thrill for any one. It's a Joisey thing.

Do the puppets consult the magic 8 ball prior to passing him their wisdom? His draw full of sock puppets and magic 8 balls.
He was on the USA U19 Team with Carsen Edwards. I'm sure Carsen has been in his ear about Purdue. It would be a dream come true if he came to Purdue. We can dream right?!
Then why don't you say that instead of the foaming at the mouth Purdue sucks drivel you spit out?I ain't trying to be negative I'm just saying it's no big deal until we're in their final two. Then that tells me we have a legitimate chance.
Total agreement. Love that game. It appeared to be where we are headed after Haas graduates. It is my belief that you don't have to have a 100% back to the basket player. You may or may not to play that way at any time. You do need to have at least one player that can play "some" of the game with his back to the basket per possession for 90% of the game. You will need those players to be able to defend down low though. I personally prefer two solid fours rather than a 4 and traditional 5. Both both fours need to be able to play with their back to the basket and go out to 15..and then you can take whatever match-up advantage (in or out) you have on O and keep the spacing. Michigan had that last year
