From that article... I've never read anything so Homer based in all my life. I'd expect that from a fan site but Rivals???

"Indiana is on track to be, by far and away, the better program over the course of Strickland’s career."

Apparently IU is now up there with Penn State in program trajectory.

Far and away the better program... How in the hell does someone come to that conclusion based off of 2020

“Indiana will likely beat up on Purdue for the majority of the years Strickland is on campus.”

This dude is a clown haha.

Why were you on the iu rivals site, and why do you think people here care about what is on the iu rivals site? There’s an entire thread about Strickland that has devolved to calling out iu fans for their obsession with us. This isn’t a great look for us.

Wow. This guy really thinks IU is a good football program. Going to be funny when reality smacks him in the face.

It was posted on our pay board.... Thought you freebies would get a kick out of it too. Sorry for sharing.

What do you mean this isn't a good look for us??? Commenting on a written article from our rivals is not a good look for us....

Come on man

The delusion of that fanbase is a real thing. We often mock it on here but it's gone from a running joke to a serious mental condition.

None of this really surprises me. I posted this on here last Fall, and I think for some IU fans it was true. They were mad at the Big Ten for making the exception of letting Ohio State play in the Big Ten Championship, instead of them. I really think some of their fans thought that IU deserved to play in the CFP last year. That is crazy.

IU got what they deserved. They lost to a barely bowl eligible Ole Miss Team missing several key players.

Ole Miss kinda proved that was a farce...

Consistent with Ted and the other clownpantzers who have posted homoerotic thoughts on this forum -- it is becoming increasingly clear what the 'leo' philosophy really means. That final photo confirms it.

I shudder to think what that young man has been doing to our bucket. We will have to decontaminate and sanitize it when we take in back to its rightful home in Nov.

And they lost with their best team in decades. So sure we are down right now and no one is discounting that, but iu has 'shot their wad' as it were and peaked during a pandemic. As much as they want us to believe it here, they are not the next Alabama.

Reminds me of the state motto of Alabama, "Thank God for Mississippi"

The real problem I have with these IU fans is they suddenly wanna talk about it. We are down and I have no problem saying they are better than us right now.

however, as soon as the tables are turned those see no evil hear no evil cowards will run back to their board, not want to talk about it, and Instaban Anyone who goes over there posting 1/10 of what we get here.

never forget that in 2003.. they were calling us a “middle of the road big ten team.”

they’re gonna have a nice ball club this year. Didn’t know they were 01 Miami

Coach Geese will fly back, as he did after the ole missy loss.

I actually think it’s gonna be very hard for big ten teams to be as bad as some Purdue and IU teams have been over the past 20 years AFTER the playoff is expanded and then parody kicks in after the initial period.

But their fans will run back when they come down to earth

I think you mean parity, but why do you think parity will kick in? NIL will work against parity.

Sorry early

NIL will work against it but once the playoff expands it will work toward it.

not to mention there’s this… you know all those star players on those G5 schools? Not Cincinnati whose stature will increase but a Toledo or central Michigan… they ain’t going to those schools to take a worse deal when they can still get something at Purdue or IU. So it’s going to be .. get your 2-3 non conference wins, then go 3-6 or 4-5 in the big and you’re there. You won’t see IU and Purdue having prolonged stretches with no 6-6 team

I saw the article yesterday and I wouldn’t expect anything more. That site’s writers have always written from a fan’s point of view.

Complete clown; opinion writer that’s drank the Kool-aid. I’m telling you they won’t win 5 games. Rutgers hit the transfer portal hard and have better recruiting classes and as much talent as IU. Better coach too.

You’re a fool. The program is now in great shape whether you like it or not.

You clearly know nothing
Please elaborate. Dude is clueless. IU won’t get past Rutgers, PSU, OSU, Michigan, MSU and possibly Maryland in the coming years. And definitely not Purdue. They better start scheduling JC teams preseason.
