So I had an idea for a letter to Morgur after I again read his comments about lineman not being rated highly. I think I'll print off every offensive lineman who was ranked in the top 300 for ESPN and Rivals and send them to him. I'll probably highlight Coy Cronk from Lafayette Central Catholic as he was ranked in the top 50 for his position nationally here in town. Good idea or bad?

You would probably get a long winded reply, with lots of big words in it, justifying the present state of football and recruiting at Purdue.

For most of the year, we had a higher ranked prospect committed.

So you've studied how the perennial powers do things and see that once they get a high ranked lineman to commit they stop recruiting that position because they realize only one lineman is needed per class.

Well, they had 3 linemen committed for a long time in what was supposed to be a small class There wasn't room for a fourth

Not sure what you want me to tell you.

I understand that. In fact, Hazell had a good crop of lineman lined up, but losing Bridge hurt and I wish they wouldn't have announced that until after LOI signings like lots of schools do...as dirty as that may appear.

I was more so doing it to throw it in dingleberries face because his comment was stupid. He threw it out there as a comment he thought would get the fans to just shake their heads and agree with him because he clearly banks in the Purdue fans to be stupid. In fact, most simply just understand Burke isn't going to do anything about it and started to not care about he program long ago.

Of course it was a dumb comment. Pointing toward the bama line and its 4 and 5 star recruits is enough to prove his comments incredibly ass brained
