Let’s hear some early score predictions

I think a full roster Purdue vs a full roster UT would be a damn good game.

That’s not what we have. Purdue’s two studs are sitting out and they aren’t healthy.

UT has a couple of starters sitting out and the rest of the team seems healthy.

The first Q will dictate the game and if Hooker is accurate it will get ugly fast. If Purdue can weather that first Q storm and if Hooker is rusty, it could be a close game.

UT 42 Purdue 28
I hope Purdue scores more than 28 vs Tennessee. I think it will be closer than that. Missing a couple WR's and a DE moves the needle a little, but not a ton imo.

That score assumes we jump to a large early lead, which we did in most of our wins.

You’ll be shocked at how fast we run on offense. Fastest in the country. That works great when you’re making first downs. Not so great if you aren’t.

I look forward to the match up. I think Purdue is a good football team.

Is AOC out for the game?

It is currently expected that Aidan O'Connell will be playing in the bowl game.

Anything else right now is just rumor.

But, it's not just the "silly season", it's the "IDIOT season", so stay tuned. We have healthy college athletes barred from participating in athletic events due to a positive test, and the asymptomatic general public who will overrun hospitals with a mere positive test.

None if this has to make sense. It's all emotion now, with a cult-like feel...

I’m worried about this game happening. Hope the rumors aren’t true.

You know more about Purdue than Purdue fans? Long missed some games and our offense played great without him. It was during the final stretch of games where O’Connell hit 74% of his passes for almost 2,000 yards and 12TDs and 0 INTs.
Navygay was just getting to that point.....

Madmax, you have been fair and informative but tell your your little brothers to go to bed.,..
My point was that this is an even matchup, and that the records don't tell the whole story...my whole point was that I don't feel like this is a game UT doesn't belong in or is overmatched. The whole point of my post was that they are so closely matched, that a handful of plays in either direction could flip their records and perception.

A lot of times when people take offense at things...they are just projecting their own insecurities...so, maybe that is something to get checked out.

the problem with scoring 28pts is you will probably need 28 more to win. 90% chance Tennessee scores in the 50’s

Call your shot…

Assuming your QB plays I’m going with 42-20 Tennessee.
38-34. Quit acting like your defense is better than it is.

Who did Tennessee hold to 20 or less this year and why do you perceive Purdue to be on their level as opposed to better?

Purdue 34 Tennessee 31 assuming O’Connell does indeed play today.

Purdue gives up 20.5 ppg on average for the season. DC Brad Lambert coached against Heupel when he was at UCF in the Gasparilla Bowl. He knows all about Heupel’s offense and it’s pace. It will not be a surprise at all. Tennessee’s leaky secondary is a problem for Tennessee today as it has been pretty much all season.

They held a community College to 0 so they will probably hold Purdue to 14.

I’m sorry you’re upset, buddy. Do you think changing guy to gay is derogatory? I hope you’re not a bigot.

Maybe you should look at the thread where one of your fans put Spock and Kirk in a bathtub together, insinuating they're gay Purdue fans. Gonna go over to that thread and denounce that behavior, you f'ing hypocrite?

You are certainly cocky and way too sure of yourself. Are you man enough to come over here on this website and admit you were wrong if Purdue wins? Or will you suck your thumb while you whimper and cry in the corner of your parents basement?
