LB Rickey Smith?

Came across this name when looking at our Transfer Portal list on 247. Says he committed in 2020, enrolled in 2021, then went in the portal December 5th, and returned to Purdue December 21st. He's not listed on the current roster. Anyone know anything about him?

My understanding is that Kyle Bilodeau and Rickey Smith "stepped away" or took a break from the program for the 2022 season. Not a medical redshirt that I'm aware of. They were not listed on the 2022 roster.

For Rickey, there was a rivals (G&B) article on him on 08-01-2022, but the link doesn't work.

For Kyle, Purdue sports had an article discussing him on 06-13-2022, but the link doesn't work.
