...why do we get so tight? We can play the 38 or 39 minute game but not the 40 minute game. I don't get it.
Up 7, here's what I saw:
1. Mathias lets UC player dribble up to 22 feet completely uncontested.
2. Up 4 Edwards attempts unnecessary result, long inbound pass at a terrible angle.
3. Still up 4, we let them get to the rim as only 2 seconds tick off and very weakly foul the shooter, allowing him to convert.
4. Allow nearly uncontested drive and don't slow the clock at all after Hammons free throws.
5. Miss one of two free throws.
6. Call timeout and sub in Thompson???
Just unbelievable.
