Kory Taylor commits

Offense is going to be pretty good next season. If Brohm stays through next season, the offense could be one of the tops in the conference and a top 10 in the country. Senior QB in Sindelar, bevy of RB's, experienced OL, and playmakers on the outside like Taylor and possibly Moore. Offense could be the best we have seen since 2004 with Orton and Stubblefield. If the defense can make strides as well from 2018 to 2019 as they gain experience as well (should be kind of young next season), Purdue could compete for a West Division Title in 2019. Will have a high profile team in TCU coming to Ross Ade along with Vandy and heading to Nevada for the first game. Honestly, a wonderful schedule to work up to TCU with a week off before the first B1G game against Minny. Schedule definitely isn't easy but it could be much harder. Pick up Maryland and PSU for the cross division games along with IU.

Brohm loading up on WR, which is awesome, along with possibly 2 kids named Anderson, Bonner, and hoping for “Moore”, with Sipe and Plummer throwing to them in a couple years......Wow!
Kids from this year that have gained a year of experience, let’s not forget about them.
Boiler Up!

This is tremendous news! For two reasons. The first is Kory will be a tremendous asset to our team! The second is that we were late in his recruiting process and went head to head against Louisville in recruiting him and won!

We are now recruiting the big boys and winning!

Huge. Simply, huge.

If he continues this progress, Brohm will build something he won't be able to leave.

This is my sentiment! We could have easily gone 8-4 this year! If Brohm builds a consistent 8-4 to 10-2 team, and being a part of the BIG 10, he will have less desire to leave for jobs like Tenn or Flo St! He will be able to use the BIG 10 much like Harbough to become famous in his own right! He could become the next Barry Alvarez

The only college I fear going after him is Louisville!

This is great news. I'm not ready to speculate on how good our offense will be next year, but we are trending up for sure. Anderson is enrolling early which will help him prepare to compete for playing time next year.

A shout out to Kory's brother.... is Kory enrolling early or waiting until summer?

We had a great visit and we were definitely well fed, to say the least, haha. The coaches are all great guys and these new facilities are extremely nice. Got to hangout with some of the players without coaches and there’s a great atmosphere surrounding the team. Definitely something special here at Purdue. I’m really looking forward to the future of this program and, specifically, the offense. -KT’s brother

I am glad to hear that you guys had a great visit. I can probably speak for all Purdue Football Fans when I say we are extremely excited that your brother is joining our program. There is a very positive buzz surrounding the program since Coach Brohm came onboard. So much excitment, which is reminiscent of when Tiller took over in the 90's. This is the start of something very special and your brother is going to be on the ground floor building it up!

Welcome to the Boilermaker family!!!

I've always been curious to know more about how weekend visits are like. I imagine they put you up in a hotel? Do you meet with Brohm and assistant coaches?

I've seen a lot of Purdue coaches with what looked to be recruits eating at Brunos

My son is a track athlete at an MVC school, and he has been asked to be a host for some visiting athletes. As a host they go to a local respectful restaurant and check out some of the night life. For one recruit, they went outside the norm, and went hiking at a near by state park during the day. the recruit was a marathon type runner and liked hiking. I DON"T make this stuff up.

I was very hopeful when he says that academics was very important and his other visit was to Louisville of all places...LOL

Welcome KT.

Yeah, all paid for visit. We stay in a local hotel, tour the campus and facilities, meet with academic advisors, sit down and talk to coaches and eat a ton of food haha. We were able to sit down and talk with Coach Brohm in his office and discuss general questions we had and we also had a meeting with Coach Shephard to discuss exactly where KT would be in the offense and what they imagine him doing. He also gave us a quick lesson on how their receivers run plays and how they analyze defenses. It’s really just a lot of Q&A time while getting to know the coaches better. Our whole family is looking forward to Purdue now.
