Kings commitment video

Along with Ole Miss, Missouri, and Arkansas...quite a few SEC offers
Watched his junior film...I think he is a little bit of Tario with his ability to get in to the open field and a little bit of Moore with his ability to make cuts and stop, plant his foot, and get going again...not as good as Moore is at making cuts at full speed though. He’ll be a RB that can eventually be a multi-facet back in that he can run between the tackles, run to the outside, catch the ball out of the backfield, and most importantly stay in the backfield and pass block.

A possible day 1 starter next season imo if Fuller struggles with his health although I wouldn’t discount Worship since Brohm can scheme up the outside run game with Moore, Anthrop, and Anderson.

He is probably the most talented all around RB we have been lucky enough to receive in a long time. Everyone likes to look at stars, but he was a 5.7 rating which is just under 4 star. He goes up one notch this year he is a 4 star.

That down on Anderson?

Nope but just haven’t seen him be the back that Brohm wants and needs for the offense. No surprise that Knox’s growth coincides with the offense being a bit more explosive since he is the better pass blocker but has shown an ability to catch them all better out of the backfield (which we saw Jones and Worship do last season). Having a single back do those things in one package makes the offense multi-dimensional and doesn’t tip off some schemes for the defense.

That’ll be something in the spring and fall camp that I’ll likely watch very closely to see his development. With Fuller and Worship being out, if Anderson could provide something...he would have gotten his shot by now if he was ready. Not saying he can’t be that player...but I see it more from King than Anderson last year and in camp.

Whats fuller's injury other than soreness?

He had something like 2-3 surgeries on his ankle in the off season and I don’t think has rebounded as expected. Could be some gamesmanship being played to get him an extra year as he is a junior and the emergence of Knox (and even Horvath) have shored up the RB position so he isn’t needed as much.

He has 300 career yards. I doubt its gamesmanship

So, i checked the participation report (thanks to nips). Fuller has played in all 5 games. He isnt injured. They just arent giving him carries.

Thanks for the clarification Nat. I think the emergence of Knox and reliability of Jones is why Fuller isn't seeing touches for the most part. Add in the fact that Horvath had proved himself as a capable #3 when needed, and there is your rationale for Fuller not getting the touches this season.

I think it'll be as open of a competition next season with Knox and Jones both graduating...which is surprising why James didn't jump at the opportunity at Purdue, BUT I firmly believe King is the better overall back of the two. The thing I'd be interested in seeing next season is a big backfield of Horvath and Worship for short yardage situations, and the fact that both have proved they can catch the ball out of the backfield could help with short yardage situations and killing clock down the stretch next season.
