QB, Pass Rushers, and WRs are probably the 3 most important units on the field, so it's good to see that we're looking good in those areas. The talent level at D-line will look completely different than it did during the Hazel and early Brohm era where we were playing guys who were noticeably less quick and explosive than your average B1G guy.

Stacking some big boys on the D line. All 4 recruits are 6'4-6'6. Give them a year or 2 at the training table and weight program and we've got solid size on the line.
Going the NFL way of rotating solid DL to get to the QB. Easier to rotate than the OL. Opposing OL will wear down.

I'm highly encouraged that we're getting these types of players in the trenches. That's where we've been weak in the past and I think Brohm has done a much better job addressing that need.

Looks like a big chunk of media cash is going to stadium renovation. Next priority, pony up to give Mark Hagen a fat raise and throw a bunch of money at a linebacker coach/recruiter the equivalent of Hagen.

Id rather upgrade the OL coach.
I would NEVER argue with that sentiment! I can not believe we are still being out recruited by teams like Iowa for our own Indiana talent! Why would any linemen want to go to Iowa other than the fact they actually develop their 3 star linemen recruits into pros?

I can’t argue against upgrading the OL coaching. As far as priority, it’s a coin flip. Offense is important. We do manage to put up 35-40 points a game against a lot of teams, but struggle against stout lines. But we generally only have about 1 or 2 Big Ten caliber LB on the roster out of the guys that were actually recruited and developed here. If not for WKU loyalty transfers it would have been bad news a couple years ago. And if not for some 6th year eligibility this season could be downright frightening.
I guess I am longing for the days where we had Ayodele, Gardner, Niko, and Landon Johnson on the same depth chart. Or even Avril, Keglar, Bobby I, Goldsberry, and George Hall. I’d take that in a heartbeat.

Caraway is 6-3 and Strickland is 6-4. In a year or two there’s a good chance they will make half the DL.
Saw a couple of great comments in the Nic Caraway interview a week or so ago.
"I'm a grinding Texas kid, I love to run, I love to hit. There's not much to it"
And my favorite.
"That’s what we do down there. We play ball and we hit stuff."
Pretty sure we're going to really like this kid!

I love kids coming from the south. They take their football seriously at a young age.
