Lol head shaker there iu not taken back at all with 2-3 best bigs kicked off team smh

Pre-season rankings are horribly affecting college basketball... All it does it try to set up ranked made for tv match-ups. We have no idea who is going to be good or bad next year but the media insists on ranking teams before it's even played a game. It's even worse in football when teams who are ranked at the beginning of the season appear to be much tougher opponents than what they really are. Rankings shouldn't happen until conference start in my opinion.

It's not really. I think it just shows what I've been saying in that they weren't game changers. They were going to be bench players and nobody knew what Davis could contribute.

I wouldn't think that MSU losing Swanigan would knock them down that far. Even without him there are still going to be an extremely tough team. Still top 15.

I think Michigan is a little high. Michigan was really young last year and even when Levert was healthy they dropped a few head-scratcher games I could see them being what Purdue was last year.....improved and good enough to make the tournament , but in the 22-12 record range and one year away from being really good. Especially once Battle gets there in 2016.

I know Bo Ryan gets the benefit of the doubt for that 25 spot, but with the returning talent in the Big Ten, Wisconsin could still be really good but wind up being 6th in the Big Ten. I'll go out on a limb and predict that this is the year where Wiscy finally loses their top 4 finish streak.

Nope. It says the voters are still voting based on ancient history and not what Tommy has done to the program.

Indiana and purdue are both top 25 teams imo . Why we all arguing for Petes sake lol. Bout time we both have top level teams again. One I'm skeptical about is Michigan ....

I am too. But they added some quality big guy (foreign, I believe) to a pretty solid lineup. It's hard to think they'll be significantly better given they were a dumpster fire before Walton and LeVert went down, but they really came around at the end of the season. I would expect them to pick up where they left off at the end of the year. I think they're gonna be pretty tough, but I am skeptical.

Iu top 15 is funny. Return the core of a team that lost tons of games towards the end of the season, hopefully they keep the momentum going into next year!
