Just could not maintain at Iowa

Fought valiantly until the 4th quarter but ran out of steam in 3rd tough game of the week, two on the road against three teams that are or have been ranked. Iowa has arguably the best center in the country and she was the difference tho Iowa shot really well from outside to0. It was anyone's game going into the 4th but Boilers wilted. Most of the games down the stretch are winnable with a shot at a first day BTT bye. This team will fight against anyone it faces. But lack of depth remains glaring.

Lack of depth has been persistent for a number of years as transfers proliferate.

Hoping that changes for next season. Only time will tell. Certain players like Boudreau and Wilby may be sliding to the bottom of the bench with the new recruits coming in and the overall numbers. What must NOT happen is the loss of significant players in the rotation. That has been a problem almost every year and has really hurt this team. If that happens again, given the success of this season and the clear momentum going into next season, that is a BIG problem.
And, BTW, walk-on Stallings seems to have some talent.
