Jayla Smith’s game-winner completes 18 point comeback win for #Purdue women’s basketball in the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.

The Boiler Upload game recap is sponsored by Reindeer Shuttle.

Gritty, ugly, grind-it-out win. Pretty tough to come back from 18 points down to pull this thing out. Next up is Iowa, which will be a monster challenge - I just hope they play solid and acquit themselves well. Don’t expect a win, just want them to play smart and please, decrease the turnovers.

Watching Clark play is sort of like watching Curry, I like seeing the best, she’s really good.

She really has the skills. I hope she leaves for the pros this year but I suppose she will not. As I have said before, her personality really irritates me - the whining and the grandstanding. But yes, she is a hell of a player.

As Jane said on the radio broadcast, I think Jayla does so much better when she just reacts rather than trying to make something happen..

And I was pretty amazed that Hardin could hold her own in the 5 position against Williams and others. She often drives me crazy with her streakiness but she is tough.

She grandstands a bit, I watched the entire IU game, she acted fine. There’s worse than her Doc lol. I imagine she’ll return, NIL for her has to be solid.

Totally agree with you on her

Newton said on the broadcast Friday that all Iowa players have committed to returning except Cziano sp?

I missed that but tuned in a little late. But Czinano is the only 5th year so that makes sense. Impressive that everyone else has committed to return. But it is a long way to next season and I would assume they need to make room for some freshman.

Regardless, if true they will, once again, be tough.

I love watching her play, she’s can’t miss tv, for the women’s game that’s huge.
When she was popping her collar, knife to the heart and throat slitting while UConn was crushing Army I swore I'd NEVER watch her shit antics every again, and I lost a great deal of respect for Geno for letting her behave that way
