Been told he didn't make the trip. Will be the second consecutive game he's missed with an apparent concussion, though we don't know the severity for sure. It's a bit odd because Replogle played every snap against Illinois before missing the Iowa game last week, and Darrell Hazell said the following Tuesday that Replogle had "headaches." So the likely assumption was concussion.

But when we saw him in practice those two days that week — Tuesday and Wednesday pre-Iowa game — he was there and in street clothes just watching. Myles Norwood, who also had a concussion, wasn't even there. So it'd have seemed as though Replogle's severity wasn't as bad as Norwood's.

Not sure we're ever going to get "facts" on this, though, with Parker as interim. Best bet is to request Replogle, but we don't know if we're ever going to be able to request people either. When I get some facts, I'll, of course, pass them along.

Now the obvious statement: It's bad for Purdue not to have its best player on the field. Already, the run defense isn't that great but without Replogle, it's worse. Expect Lorenzo Neal to start again. We'll see if Keiwan Jones is the other interior sub, like he was last week. Significant drop-off, obviously, between those guys and Replogle.
