Jacobsen invited to U19 USA Camp

I still believe that DJ will be in the starting lineup next season alongside TKR. I like what Cluff brings but think that Jacobsen having the ability to spread the floor more will make him a great fit alongside Trey and give TKR room to work inside, potentially with less doubling by opposing bigs. Reports of DJ adding nearly 40 pounds should help him stand up better to battling down low too. Plus, his defensive presence can be huge, something that would've made a big difference this past season.

100% agree. Dj showed a lot of potential in what little we saw last season and I have this feeling he will leave Purdue with the all time blocks record.

I acknowledge that it is a very small sample size, but Cluff is 5 for 7 from 3 for his career. Given that he was 78% from the line last year, as well, I suspect that he has the ability to space the floor enough for TKR to work, effectively. His stats are just very impressive in general. Everyone talks about his rebounding for good reason, but his field goal percentage and assists numbers are also very good. We’ll see how it translates to the Big Ten, but I expect him to figure out a way to be very complimentary to Trey.

That said, while I am guessing that Cluff will start, I do think that DJ has an even higher ceiling than Cluff. I am excited to see it play out.

I don't know who will start and/or when, but I do believe there will be several minutes we see Trey and Daniel on the court together...particularly if Dan's perimeter shooting is as effective as possible
