Gotta feel its us....after all of our players added him today!
Twitter coincidence is giving me a good feeling about this (on top of other friends I have around the university saying he is a lock), he would be a major piece to bringing Purdue to a whole new level, seriously talented kid. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Getting him and Eastern would be BIG TIME. I'm not sold on Tillman and honestly, I don't think he's sold on us. Would be smart for Painter to take JJJ and Eastern and then offer some later risers. Worked last time with Carsen Edwards!
You have to think that JJJ sees himself as our next JJ. Similar builds, but I think JJJ is more skilled at this point. He sees a place where he can play early, develop and succeed. A place that took a kid with his similar body type and a lesser skillset and turned him into an NBA first rounder.

Yep this is where I am. Managing expectations helps a lot with the whims of teenagers but I am feeling optimistic on this one. Hoping for the best.
One of the accounts I follow on Twitter has tweeted a trusted source of his has said probably Maryland, but wouldn't be surprised if Purdue. Many Purdue fans follow this guy. That said, I remain hopeful but waiting to find out tomorrow. Happy early Birthday JJJr!

He'll probably commit to Maryland, and then later decommit and commit to Purdue. Because it just wouldn't be fun without the drama...
