Believe what you want, but had RMK really choked Reid, there would have been marks and maybe damage to his trachea. Knight's hands are huge and at that time he was a bull.

Big difference between a butt whack and a neck choke. The latter is life threatening. BK was off his rocker when he did that and should have been reprimanded immediately by IU's AD.

It does seem like he is reacting more and more violently. I watched the Mich/MSU game and thought his behavior with his players was the worst I have seen from him.

Why are people so delusional about Knight. He was done at IU he just didn't know it. Sat with the late Howdy Wilcox and I can tell you IU's #1 booster was done long before the video came out. Too many enabling Presidents and trustees spoiled him. Hitting a cop, shooting a guy, treatment of his players. If it all came out, that video would just have been the tip of the iceberg

To be technical, I don't think that video proves that he choked him. It doesn't rule it out either. The video shows him put his hand up to the neck area and push him backwards for a few seconds. The word "choke" to me implies that someone is squeezing your neck and preventing you from breathing regularly which you certainly can't tell from this video.

I don't really care one way of the other because as Heller alluded to this is just the tip of the iceberg. If this wasn't a "choke" he did something some other time that should've cost him his job long before this.

I find it hard you can tell much of anything from that crappy video quality. I'm just looking at it objectively as I really don't care one way or the other if he did or didn't. If you want to say the video shows him shove him by pushing him near or in the neck area I think you can conclude that. To claim he choked him you have to know his hand was on the throat and he squeezed. Nobody can tell that from that video. I'm not saying he didn't but I'd challenge anyone trying to say that they can tell he definitely did too.
