I like Woody, not so much as a coach, but for his demeanor...he is interesting . If gone, and it certainly appears that way, the guy I would miss most if let go is the Armond Hill. Watching him emotionless staring into space makes for an interesting backdrop to the mantra's chanted by the cheerleader's droning.

Ouch. That surprises me. Must appreciate the opportunity that Manuel gave him and is rewarding that with loyalty.

Reportedly only a 7.5M buyout. Which seems very low in a case like this.

Hill is only around because of Woodson. Next coach won't keep any of this staff around. I don't even know why Woody trust Hill with anything related to basketball. The dudes time in college was overseeing Columbias worst basketball seasons in their history with a record of 72-141 over 8 seasons. He was a good player though back in the 70s. Helped lead Princeton to an NIT title one year and was the Ivy League POY in 75-76.

Had 2 deep discussions yesterday (1 former student manager and 1 former trustee member)..

They both thought May was 1a, Cronin 1b and they both felt Beard would not be in the top 5 candidates. I'll be honest, that shocks me.

The former trustee was explaining Woodson's private location. Where he has his wine and cigars. Stating it was a provided perk for him. He has been there before. I laughed and said "perk for losing".
