Iu's latest football commitment

So he'll have to do his press conference with his secret hat trick all over again? With 5 different hats?

I'm sure he would. But I don't think he has any hats left.

A bit awkward for IU to say the least. I can understand how IU sent him the scholarship papers for signature before this became public information. But why didn't they tell him those papers were no longer valid, and would not be honored by IU, prior to his ridiculous hat-choosing committment?

I don't think he has any more hats to flip that don't lead to JUCO land. His best bet is to lay low and let it all blow over and then either go JUCO or land a spot late. He's a good player but no way anyone will touch him at this point and time.

My definition of sex includes oral. And per the report she was ready and willing to give that. Therin lies the dilemma when talking about sexual assault, rape and consent.
Wut? So if she consents to one thing that means there doesn't have to be consent for anything else/

I don't know. I would think there would be a distinction.. But I'm not the police. She obviously consented to oral sex with several members who were present. Does that consent constitute giving her consent to other forms of sex? I wouldn't, think so, but obviously, the police thought differently.

He's not coming to Indiana. The University did not accept that commitment. And technically he wasn't the first commitment to Allen, that was JUCO LB Mike McGinnis.

I think the Australian punter was the first commitment but I could be wrong.

Read the 80 page report, 3putt.
I understand what you are saying but, shouldn't criminal charges now be filed? This is a criminal case for which it is beyond a doubt, not civil in the preponderance of evidence. That Duke case languished for months with prosecutor eventually was dis-barred.

The biggest lesson is don't put yourself in that situation. Lessons that I didn't fully appreciate when I was these guys ages. Betcha the also there were copious amounts of alcohol/drugs flowing also. One lesson I eventually learned is that alcohol is the most abused and destructive drug on earth. No, I don't look down on those that have a pop but, I learned not to expose myself to that kind of fire.

there was also a video with three passages showing the athletes and also their actions. and most of the guys involved all admitted it, but said it consensual. Except for the guys who contradicted themselves by saying they were never there to investigators but said wild party and took selfies on their cell phones inviting others to join them. There is just so much evidence, you don't even have to speculate. the only speculation is why the police didn't file charges.

three putt makes a valid point that wasn't discussed much. it's mentioned about 20+ times that the men say they knew she was drunk, and she also admits it. but it says she could still make a decision which is a big factor in rape charges today. They also admit it was a party, and state the majority of people attending were freshmen and sophomores. But since the police were involved after the fact, the investigation focuses on the sexual assault rather than under age drinking and how drunk the males were at the time. my momma done tole me, nothin' good ever happens after 2 AM except my birth. .

BufaloRed, did we really just offer Kyle Williams a scholarship last week? Here I thought that was over a decade ago....

I'm just joking around with you. The Hafiz kid ruined his career unless he goes JUCO for two years, lets it die down and then resurfaces low-key. The strange thing about the police reports is that the "recruit" left the room after he was finished saying something to the effect of: "This place is f$&@d up. I'm never coming back here." I wonder if his host pressured him somewhat as well.

IU was really his 3rd choice in all of this. He wanted Nebraska. They were smart enough to pull his offer the prior week. The whole cap thing was a punk move that shows just how self-indulged the guy was.
