Stupid question here but when a team shoots an airball and the opponent catches it, do you get credit for a DEF Rebound?

It does count as a rebound as long as the airball is ruled a FGA. Similarly, you can catch your own airball (and get credit for an offensive rebound and FGA) as long as the refs view it as a legit FGA.
