This schedule is wrong. The home games you show are actually away games and vice versa.
Ah, your right, yahoo schedule lists the home team at the top (who'd thunk that?).

Why won’t Purdue beat Iowa at home? Sure we lost a game we shouldn’t have but we also beat a ranked team as well.
Because Iowa is loads better than EMU or Northwestern..? Because Iowa smoked a Northern Illinois team that just beat EMU..? Because Iowa is 15+ spots higher than Purdue in pretty much every single computer-based ranking... Take your pick... It's certainly possible but not at all probable.
The X team beat y team who beat a team who beat you line of argument never works. If you think EMU would beat us on Saturday you have problems.
Iowa has been better to this point. They really struggled with Purdue’s offense in their house last year, and the gap was wider than 15 spots.
Reality... bucket game 2019, there’s going to be as much rage amongst your fan base as 2004. But you guys handled it well then. You just buried your head in the sand, pretended you were better than you were, and didn’t allow a Purdue poster on your board for 2.5 years.
But EMU did beat you guys on a Saturday. There is no transitive inference required. Purdue is a team that got beat by EMU. That is who they are.
So beating ranked Boston College and Nebraska at Nebraska in front of 90,000 Husker fans doesn’t count I guess. IU has beaten exactly 0 good teams. But EMU did beat you guys on a Saturday. There is no transitive inference required. Purdue is a team that got beat by EMU. That is who they are.
We beat Iowa at their place last year fairly convincingly. Iowa is not better this year than last year, especially on defense. Still Iowa will shut IU down.Because Iowa is loads better than EMU or Northwestern..? Because Iowa smoked a Northern Illinois team that just beat EMU..? Because Iowa is 15+ spots higher than Purdue in pretty much every single computer-based ranking... Take your pick... It's certainly possible but not at all probable.
Purdue 72 IU 41 Tie 6. IU sucks and we own them.First you do realize your post right here would get any of us banned on your site right? That’s what blubbering wusses you people are.
It’s not who you play it’s when you play them. Purdue was choosing between playing freshmen, or seniors that lack talent at that time. Since that time, Tim Cason is playing less, Mackey and major more. Cornell jones is more comfortable, Zico and wright are more comfortable, David Blough has gone from looking over his shoulder to playing like Kyle Orton, and a lot of guys have just gone from boneheaded decision making to heady play.
I really can’t wait until not only the bucket game this year, but next year, when almost every player who leaves will be replaced by high recruited talent (and a coach who can coach them). I look forward to Peyton Ramsey trying to run on Karlaftis and hunter with Lorenzo Neal in the middle ...
In 18 months you morons, who were nowhere to be found for over a decade, will be back on your board instabanning anyone who lets you know how remotely bad you are..

The next few weeks will show IU where they stand. Back toward the bottom of the BIG - where you belong.

I don't moderate said message board nor do I have any control over any of that... sorry for your loss.
And Purdue is going through the exact same thing every other team goes through over the first few weeks. Do you really think PU was the only team tweaking playing time? If that is the margin of error between beating or losing to a talentless MAC team, you guys have bigger issues.
The only real question I have for next year- does Rondale transfer back home with Bhrom or not? Time will tell.
Moronic. No objective observer thinks Virginia is close to as good of a team as BC. They were #23 when we rolled them. We shut down their Heisman candidate RB. BC is considered by many pundits as the second best team in the ACC after Clemson. Miami is considered too. Virginia is bad and will likely not make a bowl. They have a HS-level offense. (IU is coached by a glorified HS coach, so I somewhat understand your affinity for them.)Are we supposed to be impressed by beating 0-4 Nebraska? LOLOL
And BC is ranked exactly one spot above Virginia in the S&P+ so... equally unimpressed. So while both teams have no 'quality' wins, IU has no embarrassing losses. I would rather be 4-1 than 2-3 with moral victories like almost beating EMU at home.
Enjoy your glorified HS coach. Brohm isn’t going anywhere soon and it has you scared $hitless.I don't moderate said message board nor do I have any control over any of that... sorry for your loss.

>Beating Nebraska at Nebraska is no easy task
It's only been done by every single team that has had that chance so far this season, but yea I will take your word for it.
BC is sitting at #7 in the current ACC power rankings on ESPN. 2 spots ahead of Virginia (similar to how they have IU two spots ahead of Purdue)
Aren't you the guy who told me Purdue would definitely be 6-0 walking into Columbus? Maybe you aren't the best predictor of such things.

Tell you what, when iu wins a bowl game(how many years has it been 30?) you can talk this shit. Until then realize your team is a steaming pile of shit being run by a high school version of Tom Crean
It was a statement of fact, not talking shit.

“Good luck when Brohm leaves”- every IU fan because they are hoping and praying that happens. I would be too if I was an IU fan. Rondale will continue doing work for many years at Purdue. Hope you’ve enjoyed watching him so far.
I never said that. Nice try.>Beating Nebraska at Nebraska is no easy task

Matter of fact. In what year did IU win its last bowl game? HINT: It was well within the last century. Like 1991. IU hasn’t won a bowl game in 27 years and you’re here talking shit to us? You are a complete and utter moron. It was a statement of fact, not talking shit.
Brohm loves Purdue and west la la. Maybe some of you IU trolls should leave the trailer park every once and a while and visit our beautiful campus.
IUFB at 4-1 has no buzz because you are paper tigers playing with a glorified high school coach with no identity.
Outside of a few trolls on here nobody cares about IUFB it’s about lord Romeo. Purdue fans actually care about football.
IU will not beat Iowa, Maryland, or Purdue. My thoughts -
No chance - OSU
Tiny chance - Penn State
Small chance - Michigan
Decent chance - Iowa
Real chance - Minny, Maryland, Purdue
Can see IU going 1-6 or 4-2, but my guess is 6-6.

What are your chances based on? See the record on the back half of all those years? Know what they have in common? Every year you guys talk like you’re closing out with real chances against teams you just think you should have a better program than.
IU will not beat Iowa, Maryland, or Purdue.
Said with authority.....thanks for the brilliant prognostication.
Dude, that's what you offered. Your posts have been fine up to this point. Please don't stray into the "stereotypical IU poster" territory.
BC is considered by many pundits as the second best team in the ACC after Clemson.
That's why they play the games. Ya'll may be right, but then again, maybe not. Good luck the rest of the season except against IU. Must be nice knowing there is no way you can lose.
Well, before our game with them, two different prognosticators on ESPN said the same thing, FWIW. The ACC is pretty weak this year. They will make a bowl game.I don't understand the bickering about schedule for teams like Indiana and Purdue whose first concern is getting to six wins, but you should probably be a bit more discriminating in which pundits you listen too. I live in ACC country and I can assure you no serious commentator considers Boston College anywhere near the second best team in the ACC. The second half of their schedule is much tougher and most ACC folks believe they will have to work very hard to win two more games and reach bowl eligibility.
It's called an opinion...just how I view it. Screw history....it's in the past. And I'm an IU "fan" so I should think that way.
