It's not worth anything, but as a Michigan fan I hope for your sake

Brohm stays right where he is and should be - @ Purdue. My son's significant other is a Purdue student and so I have been immersed in all things Black and Gold recently. You have a good thing going there -- I hope that Coach realizes that and stays to make Purdue the team it can be.

Bottom line, Louisville is a s4!t show. That athletic department is a friggin' mess and anyone signing on to that ought to have their head examined but I understand how the pull to one's alma mater is significant. Just hope that he resists the urge and sticks with Purdue. Best of luck.

Only thing I would add is that if you do lose Brohm, Purdue ought to seriously look at the coach for Eastern Michigan to replace him. I am serious. The guy can flat out coach. Eastern Michigan football is like a death sentence and this guy has made them relevant - potentially 8-5 this year. The guy has succeeded everywhere he has gone and as you guys saw in September, he's way more than capable.

I posted the same thing this morning on the IU board about Louisville and the absolute cesspool they have created after joining the ACC. Brohm doesn't seem like the type of guy to want to step into that. JMHO Louisville a step down. The Big10 has so much more football history and tradition than the acc.

Personally I think Brohm is better off with purdue. Its better for the conference, and he seems to be more of a fit with the blue collar, go to work mentality. Yes there are a few of us who want the bucket game to actually mean something down the road! Good luck hope he stays put!

Na....I hold a grudge. EMU coach insisted University of Buffalo was better than PU and was in fact the best team they played all year. Of course Buffalo is 9-2 so maybe they are? Wonder if Uni of Buffalo coach is available?

I'm telling you - Chris Creighton is the real deal. A great football coach. If you don't snatch him up - presuming Brohm moves on - someone else will.
