I haven't seen one second of the game, but following the Gamecast. Purdue usually tries to win by getting more shots than its opponents, figuring that shooting evens out over the long haul. In this game, Purdue has taken ten fewer shots than PSU because of turnovers/steals. Rebounding is essentially even, but Purdue has 9 turnovers and PSU has 2.
When both teams are shooting about the same % and making the same # of 3s, shooting equal numbers of free throws... Just get a freakin' shot up on offense each time down the floor and they'd be winning this game.
