Is Michigan a top 3 team in Big Ten ?

Looking @ last 10 ......Shows you the hot teams.....

MSU 6-4
MD, IL, NW, Iowa 5-5

One thing to note.....Northwestern has been falling apart a bit lately. They have lost 3 of their last 4, and 5 of their last 7.

They play Michigan and Purdue this week.

Right now, NW is a 10 seed in bracketology (and falling). If they don't win one of these two games, which would both be good wins for them, it puts a lot of pressure on them in the BTT.

Last thing you want to be going into the BTT is losing 5 of your last 6 and 7 of your last 9.

NW will be a TOUGH win for us at their place- they are not quite solidly in (unless they beat Michigan).

Not sure how anyone can have UM in the top 3. They have 1 road win all year & lost to Minny. Just because we laid an egg against them doesn't make them top 3.
They lost to Minny on the road in OT. Not a bad road performance if they figure their stuff out away from home they'll be extremely dangerous. They can shoot and have good leadership. The way they are handling teams at home shoes me they are better than they have been performing on the road

To be fair, if you're going to include close losses, also recognize they beat Rutgers by 4 on the road (was losing late) and lost to Illinois by 16.

I don't think anyone disagrees that Michigan CAN be very dangerous, they haven't really shown that on the road just yet. Of course, the tournaments aren't true road games either.

I was just responding to the guy who was inferring Minny should be ranked ahead of UM. A OT loss on the road does not even remotely mean the home team is the better team. I know they haven't been solid on the road but I think their seniors will know how to take care of business on a neutral floor.
