I think it’s exam week too so with the little energy the students have I doubt they’d show out in large numbers.
Especially during FINALS week. But, I suspect this is one of many public appearances the coach will make over the coming months. It does allow students, staff, and fans a chance to hear the coach ASAP post team meeting. I have to believe he is in the works for the next MBB game and possibly the WBB WVB. If I were advising him, you want to get out in front of the public as much as possible to drive excitement. He has to win over hearts and mind!
That has me a tad pumped. Yeah I know the bar was set low with CRW, but you can feel the no-BS-will-be-allowed-strap-in-it's -bout-to-ge- real vibe.
I haven't heard yet, but the UNLV AD was pretty non-committal when questions were asked about him and was not automatically named the interim coach. The AD is looking at getting a head coach with experience.
This gives me hope that maybe, just maybe we will complete a game without dumb penalties.
