I will sum it up best I can. Mike Golic told story about his son who was a Junior invited to a combine in San Antonio (reserved for the best Juniors in the country). He was named as the TE on the all combine team while at this combine. He then committed to ND and therefore didn't go to any of the camps that proceeded that spring. Rankings came out and he was a 2*. There was no football played by him from the time he was named as a top TE at the combine for the top prospects until the rankings came out.
