Don't know if this has been pointed out yet, but I just noticed.
There are six other teams (obviously) in Purdue's half of the bracket - Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Penn State.
Of those teams, Purdue played all of them except for Illinois just once this season.
This unbalanced scheduling is pretty crazy like that.
