Indiana is back!

The IU board is hilarious right now, but IU fan's deserved this one game. I even was cheering for them to win. However, their board is so freaking funny. They are saying they're back, and now they know they have a real coach..lol Perspective: They beat a team who has lost 3 of their last 5 games, including a home loss to Ball State. The two wins are vs the Delaware Blue Hens and SFNY. I'm glad they won, but I felt even better after reading their board. Really sets themselves up for their next big let down. No fans are so delusional as IU fans.

It's really Fort Wayne-Purdue not IPFW anymore, or soon to be. They play more like their new name.

Well we're obviously not back, and may never be back again, but I suppose that is better than never being there.

Must suck to be an iu fan these last 3 weeks.
In addition to losing the Bucket and missing a bowl game, your basketball program is a complete suck fest and likely to be challenge by Iowa for last place in the B10.

Not sure why you’re on this message board making that statement since Purdue has been “there” and continues to be so.

Pardon my ignorance... but how does any BIG 10 team lose by 20 points to FT Wayne? A loss is bad enough, but by 20 points without even having anybody foul out or have anybody not play due to injury? Can somebody explain this to me?

seeing him standing beside the bench and taking a second look to make sure he IS standing I was reminded of Brian Good's father Larry when he coached. When he would squat down on the sidelines he was real easy to miss...

Give Miller credit for not walking out on the floor to take away some of the spacing of the opposing team and so he appears to have more class that Crean.

I think you are confusing the play that sent the game to OT, and the play that eventually won the game.

What did ND do to help? By not being able to guard Morgan? IU was down two, 65-63. Miller ran an isolatio?n play for Morgan. He drove the lane, and hit a tough bank shot to tie the game. Exactly what did you see on that play that ND helped IU to tie it?

Why should IU be much better than they are? You're starting to sund like IU fans. He inherited a flawed roster; no shooters, thin f/c. Not to mention a less than solid PG. Talent is there. No doubt. But it's talent that's learning a totally new system, all the while trying to break bad habits. We are exactly where I thought we would be. And that's getting better each time out. This team has been up and down, and that to was expected. Miller is the right hire. He;s a very good coach. We have improved more in the past month, than we did in Creans three years.

I will tell you the same thing I've said to IU fans----What the hell did you expect? For Miller to come in here, sprinkle some magic dust, get rid of the 9 year stinch Crean left? This team is coming along just fine.
Not to start a pissing match with you, but what you just said...."Why should IU be much better than they are? You're starting to sund like IU fans. He inherited a flawed roster; no shooters, thin f/c. Not to mention a less than solid PG. Talent is there"....are the same exact words we heard when Two Tone was hired.

As for the "We're getting better every time out" claim, losing by 20 to IPFW at home isn't in my opinion, "getting better every time out. While there are parts of Little Archie's resume I like, he's not going to do much, if any better than Crean did.

IU is no longer elite, they no longer compete on a national level, and they just aren't feared as they once were. Remember....Archie was what, the fifth or sixth choice to replace Crean after the elites turned Fred down.

And Merry Christmas.

According to Seth Davis IU doesn't match up well vs IU. They are a better match up vs ND or PU. I guess because FW is to quick and small for them while other teams are big and slow

Hey guys i bleed black & gold and i think any win is a plus for big ten. So i think that it was a plus that IU beat Notre Dame. That's my opinion but i am entitled to it.
Now that the Hoosiers have been trucked by FW...I agree! ND lost AND the Hoosiers still suck. Win-Win.

same thing but it was OT where IU was down three. Look at your video around 41 to 42 seconds and you will see Colson step "FORWARD" instead of stepping into the offensive player and THEN releasing to get the ball. Had Colson stepped into McRoberts, Coleson would have the ball. Nobody is trying to nitpick at all. I just have a different opinion of blocking out I guess
Colson didn’t take care of the little things and McRoberts did a great job taking advantage. It’s amazing how the details that you tell them, about, demonstrate in drills, point out in scrimmages, over and over, end up losing games. It’s why coaching is not easy.

I loved Crean being the sixth man. I just don’t get how he got away with it.

That comment during the game proved how big of an IDIOT Seth Davis is. He was also making excuses that IU can only win if they play with a high energy level, and they can't be expected to play like that every game.

Are you kidding me?

IU lost on the road to FW last year. Many members of that team are onthis team. IU was now at home. No payback wanted? They come out and play porly against much lower-rated players. There is no excuse and a lot of it has to be on the coaching staff as well as the players.

COACHING is the VERY hard for a lot of reasons...

Notre dame is a bad basketball team. If you lose to ball state at home and iu on a neutral court, you stink.
