Indiana All-Star Week is set to begin on Sunday in what will be a packed week of basketball, featuring several Purdue commits and targets.

I will be in attendance for Monday’s Futures Game, Wednesday’s Junior-Senior Game and Saturday’s Indiana vs. Kentucky Game.

Will have thoughts, stories and updates on this thread throughout.

Some of the players expected to be in attendance:

Saturday: 2024 commit Jordyn Poole

Wednesday: 2024 commit Jordyn Poole vs. 2025 commits Avery Gordon and Kira Reynolds and 2025 target Meredith Tippner.

Monday: 2026 targets Brooklynn Renn, KK Holman, Myah Epps, Lillian Barnes and 2027 target Lillie Graves.

I am assuming from your continued omission of covering Lampley that Purdue is no longer in the running for landing her?

I asked Mike Carmin about the Lampley sisters a couple months ago. He said Purdue is not currently recruiting either one.

My apologies for the lack of updates in here or if you follow on Twitter. Phone was going to die!

Here is the state sheet and in the next post will be some brief notes on some of the players in action.

Brooklynn Renn:

Renn had some troubles today in the early going and still gave the South team 12 points and 8 rebounds. That’s the type of player she is. Might not go on outbursts in a stretch, but is going to consistently produce.

Myah Epps:

It was my first time seeing Epps in person, and boy did she come out firing. She knocked down four perimeter jumpers in the first quarter (which I believed all were threes from my angle, but just two were ruled threes).

After a red hot start, she cooled off a bit until the fourth quarter. She finished with 17 points on 7/20 shooting. Epps gets to her spots well and can score at all three levels, plus is a willing defender. I could see her playing either point or shooting guard at the next level.

KK Holman:

Holman too had a tough time getting her offense going tonight. Although, she is more of a pass first, defensive ace type of point guard. She finished with eight points and a game-high four rebounds.

I said it in May, but shades of Kelly Komara ooze from Holman.

Lillie Graves:

Graves had a rough outing, shooting just 2-8 from the field for five points. For as talented as she is, Graves gets lost in the crowd quite often.

The two times I’ve seen her have been massively different than her track record over at McCutcheon. Looking forward to seeing her in a different setting this summer/next winter.

Lillian Barnes:

Barnes did not participate in the game, but holds a Purdue offer. I do not know if she is currently injured.

Gracyn Gilliard:

Gilliard is someone on Purdue’s radar, but hasn’t earned an offer just yet. She was 2-12 from the field with 7 points but did make an impact on the glass with six boards.

It was tough to get a read on her as she had a rare off night. Similar to Graves, would like to see her in a different setting.

McKenzie Koch:

Koch, a 2027 recruit, does not have a Purdue offer but could soon see the Boilermakers join her recruitment. Her shooting pedigree is legit, but she wasn’t able to show it off much tonight. She is also a tough defender despite being undersized.

Stats from the girls Junior vs. Senior All-Star Game.

Jordyn Poole was Jordyn Poole. She impacted the game in every area and showed off her facilitating skills. The shooting percentage was a bit low, but that was a result of fatigue, missing some layups she typically gets to fall. Her midrange pull-up game is elite, as well.

For my money, she was the best player on the floor.

It was a forgettable night for the 2025 front court tandem of Avery Gordon and Kira Reynolds. The pair combined to shoot just 1-15 from the field…

Neither could get anything to fall around the rim, which was peculiar to see considering their pedigree in the paint.

I wouldn’t put too much stock into this one night, but the pair’s first time on the court together was a disappointment.

2025 target Meredith Tippner was sensational. 22 points and led the Junior’s to victory. She had her perimeter game going, which shows just how lethal she can be when her threes are falling. Granted, a couple were banked in, but I think she called them!

Story on Poole with quotes coming tomorrow.

ESPN updated their 2025 board to include Top 100 players.

Purdue Commits -
Avery Gordon #52
Kira Reynolds #92

Purdue Target -
Meredith Tippner #94

Kira continues to drop, did she have a bad spring? Is it a case of not being seen by the right people?

I think she still has one of the highest upsides we've seen in the CKG era.

Nice to see Poole ball out last night and I'm very impressed to hear about Tippner leading the charge and forcing a big comeback win vs the seniors. That speaks volumes about her and the juniors competitiveness. Hopefully she continues to wear the gold and black!

Jordyn Poole’s week has been cut short as she is out for this evening’s game against the Kentucky All-Stars due to injury.
