Regardless of the fact that we spent this entire season in the top ten, I don’t think this will be considered our best team of the 2020’s decade. Not even if we make the final four.
I think there’s a good chance next year’s team may be the better team, and it won’t be the best team of the decade either. I think we have two final fours and 3 Big Ten titles coming yet this decade.
I think this team was derailed by playing by the rules we thought would exist, but not calling fouls in the post and Covid 5th years changed the playing field. We will adjust.
