In other news, Bielema is gigantic.

That was more crazy an ending than the Nebraska/Michigan State game.

Give some credit to the Arkansas receiver for thinking on his feet and flipping the ball backwards. If he gets tackled the game is over; might as well give it a shot.

Heard the Bielema line during his press conference....pretty funny, but I think he really was just over-excited after the game.

That is football 101. As a ball carrier you never go down with possession of the ball and no time left in the game if your team is behind. Amazing how often you see it though.

Agreed; I guess I just don't see it as commonplace as it should be. I'm not the biggest fan of Bielema's coaching, but I also have to hand it to him for going for the win......and I think your chances are generally better in OT with the defense likely being more fatigued.
 
Repeating what I heard a coach say about 20 years ago, in discussing the size of one of his players "his Mama has big thighs", this also applies to Coach Bielema......TIC
