I'm drinking the Haarms kool aid

Yeah, we should put both seven footers in the game together - THE TWIN TOWERS!

Why don’t we ever do that!!!??? I am going to call Painters radio show and ask him!!!
This really is the Gonzaga thing from last year when they put both Karnowski and Collins together on the floor. A 300 pounder senior and a skinny freshman, just switch their hometowns then it becomes Purdue. As I watched from last year's game, both of them struggled with being called on the floor and Karnowski actually was better than Collins dealing with fouls because he doesn't really move like what Collins did that fast. I know people tend to compare Haas and Karnowski last year and we do think that Karnowski is more coordinated than Haas and has better footwork. Where we are better is that our guards know better on how to feed the post than them and Haas has better efficiency than Karnowski as long as he doesn't get called too often. But his defense has little change just like Karnowski, he's still not a good player from the other side against athletic teams. Collins brought skills on the other side to comprehend Karnowski's offense. Haarms is fast and has similar skill set like Collins. And I'm positive with what we can do at the guards positions because we have better guards than them.

Haarms could give Jackson a run for his money. The only thing is Jackson will likely average 10 rebounds a game and see a lot more minutes. Getting in a semester early has done wonders. At this point, he seems like a better get than Jackson (I know... one real game.. but hear me out). Haarms for 3-4 years will likely end up being more beneficial to Purdue than one year of Jackson Jr even though Purdue could use his rebounding. Haarms looks like he could be a star. What a steal by Painter.
