I guess I was rooting for the Buckeyes from the standpoint of them being more likely to make the tournament with this win. That being said, they really had it going for a little while today, but then let Illinois do whatever they wanted in the paint in the 2nd half. Conversely, everything O$U did on offense was one-on-one iso. It quickly turned from O$U +11 to Illinois +10.

69 points from Royal, Thornton, and Mobley - 10 from everyone else. Illinois really took it to them the last 10 minutes like you stated. A lot of Jekyll & Hyde teams this year.....sometimes in the same game from half to half, as we've seen.

Sam the Butcher definitely pressed the right buttons for the Illini in that second half; O$U was putrid on offense down the stretch…
