No blocking...not terrible blocking...genuinely no blocking.
Makes no sense at all on 3rd and 11 to run a 4-yard pass route...makes far less sense for the QB to throw it there.
So much for "being aggressive" and regretting not doing so a week ago when you essentially give up on 3rd down so as to be able to try another FG from deep inside the red zone.

I know very disappointing. He should know we play better in a more uptempo
wait a minute, run on 3rd and 4, usually means you are going to go for it on 4th, guess alot of confidence in the D and kicker.
Dude the downing feature package is not good.. it’s drives like that where people sit there like “oh there will be more drives in the game” then you find out that WAS the game

Brohm decided to be aggressive on D. But the guy who was just 2-4 and 4-8 is STILL coaching the offense like he’s got something to lose. The last time he had something to lose they had just beat Ohio state
Lack of a good o line will do that to you.
Brohm’s playing the %ages, knows Illinois expects pass so he calls the run. We just need to stick to what we are best at and force the defense to stop us at that. It’s really asking a TON of one of our most glaring weaknesses to get a push for a guaranteed 4 yards.
Not when ours is this bad, like we just saw on that series. Brohm fixed the defense, he needs to do the same thing with the offense in the off season.
