Winning is absolutely relevant when you play on the national stage for recruits. Winning over any SEC team shows that your program is on the rise.

Yeah I agree it will be very difficult to win now but you never know. Be a good time to use some new players and get them some experience, but I am not the coach.

Kinda true. But team is way more than the 2 stars not playing. The majority will not play in the NFL. But they have busted their butts for 4 years and will always have their teammates . It is still an honor to play major college athletics and play in a bowl game.

I know what you are saying but I think it lets down the other teammates and doesn’t represent the actual team. Don’t know how many Tennessee players will sit out. Furthermore, how many 1st round draft picks will sit out the CFP? The number one DE NFL prospect from Michigan won’t.

Spot on. They have every right not to play, but it lets their teammates and fans down. I would like to beat Tennessee but way tougher not having them. Time for the media spin masters to do their job.

Probably. It has no meaning this year. They neutered it under the current system.
