I'm gonna get ahead of the game here and talk about the worst case scenario of if Swanigan commits elsewhere. If the unfortunate happens I'm asking a request from us as Purdue fans to treat it as if it is not the end of the world, and respect those that are still Boilers, those that will soon become future boilers and Swanigan himself. Guys the fact of the matter is that this is the reward that these kids get by putting the time and effort into becoming great basketball players, they are reward with going to the school that THEY want to go to. Whether you like it or not, not everyone wants to be a Boiler as badly as WE would like them to become one. Recruiting is not easy and Painter will still in my eyes be a very good coach and be the guy I want running this program. Blowing up and acting like children that just lost our favorite toy will have no benefits for us now or in the long run. Regardless of what happens lets show what kind of mature fan base we can be and why future 5* players would want to come play for us. If you don't think they read these message boards, you couldn't be more wrong. That is my rant, hope we can all be on the same page about this.
