A. Turn the entire night into a “jeff Brohm destination” night
B. Knock Chris Fowler out if he notes that there’s an actual game and they should talk about that too
C. Defend his time in detroit
D. Get on his knees and begin begging Brohm to leave cause none of this is to script
E. Argue that “well, who really likes college football anyway”
F. Mistake Dedrick Mackey for Rondale Moore and say “you know I think 1 is their slot receiver and he’s one of the best in the country”
G. Sing the Penn State fight song over Fowler and then fight security
H. Hack the studio so that the telecast is replaced with a tribal art festival on PBS
I. Tie Fowler up to bring out Beth mowens and bob Davie only to blather about Brohm perhaps bringing army back to their prominence of the 50s while Davie pretends to know what country he’s in and what decade it is and mowens shriekgasms intricate details of Tyler Hamilton’s life.

I say A and I at least. Please keep he, mowens and Dave wannstedt far away from our games

A - For Sure.

He acts like he is so "in the know" inside the NFL. He has been out of the NFL scene way to long for anyone to give him any "real" information. He is so bad - when he calls our games, I watch on mute and turn the radio on for sound.

For all the crap Herbie takes, I think he did a remarkable job Saturday night. Was very positive and complimentary of Brohm, the Purdue players, and heartfelt about the Tyler Trent tribute. It can't be easy to stay upbeat and complimentary while the team you love is getting thrashed on national tv. He and Fowler are a good pair.

Fowler is not my cup of tea, but I totally agree about Herbie. He stays remarkably objective when it comes to Ohio State. Not only does he love that team, but he captained OSU as did his father (who also coached for Woody). It's difficult to think of anyone with Buckeye roots deeper than Herbie's, and he must deal with a fan base that is clinically insane.

There was a hint of frustration setting in for him when Knox was breezing past the OSU linebackers and secondary, but he was very objective and complimentary of Purdue, the program, and the atmosphere at Ross-Ade.

I think he's a total professional. Had I been on the mic I would have been fired during the broadcast after saying something along the lines of "Any high school all-American would be a fool not to enroll at Purdue University," or "Jeff Brohm is the best coach in the Big Ten and it's not close."

Herbstreit is one of the most professional guys in the business.

Call it whatever you want. I don't think Millen is a good analyst either. It's just unfair and irrelevant right now with respect to Saturday night.

You do realize that Matt Millen is engaged in terrible health issues and probably needs a heart transplant, right? If not, now you know. I don't see the point of bringing your dislike for him into a conversation about Saturday night that should be anything but negative.
Agree helluva player but not a good GM or announcer and Penn St people don't like him calling their games . He is likely needing a transplant and very poor health at the moment not sure what knocking him brought to the Purdue win?

I think it was in response to Millen crapping on Purdue in a broadcast earlier this season.

He could be a great guy and I wish ill health to no man. He’s unbearable as an announcer. If “can we keep Brohm” threads could give birth to a human who would then deliver that question to the world, Millen would be it
