I think 3-9.

EKU, Maryland, and Illinois.

One step further, Cincinnati will be the hype game after a 1-0 start. Maybe a 3:30 kick. Will be hyped up like VT this year, we will come out to an enthusiastic crowd, then lay an egg in the 2nd half and lose like 49-21.

Very frustrating to have nothing to be optimistic about.

DH will win 2 next year but Sindelar is good for 3-4 more on talent alone. So maybe 5. Unfortunately with the continued poor recruiting and inept coaching 5-6 is the max as long as DH is here.

i always wait until after the first game, things can change, just takes a player or two and for team to change their attitude to make a difference.

I agree but the only thing that makes a difference the first few games is we will be playing MAC level teams with similar talent. Once the B1G starts the talent divide becomes much more difficult to overcome UNLESS you have a dynamic coaching staff.

In the past, I've always allowed myself to get really excited and think about the things Purdue could do to win a game. After the last three years, I think it's safe to say that optimism is gone. I'm now in a holding pattern until after the first game to really see how I feel.

At this point though, gut feeling....

2-10 again with wins over a non-conference team and maybe the Illini.
