This just solidified the opinions of those on this board and nationally. I get that UM is playing better but the #1 seed shouldn't lose on a neutral court to the #8 seed.
Getting the feeling Purdue peaked a bit to early this season and the last few games have shown Purdue may have leveled out a bit. If Purdue gets any type of athletic team with a big who can stretch our bigs out and a quality guard...Purdue is in trouble in the first round.
This loss puts Purdue as a likely 5 seed IMO given that they weren't even in the top 16 seeds a few weeks ago. Purdue is playing more poorly and backed in to the conference title since those seeds were drawn up.
Not trying to be a debbie downer...but UM didn't play all that great and Purdue got their bigs in foul trouble...Purdue just played to the level they have played over the last few weeks, which is poor.
