I gave credit after ND, I must criticize after Minnesota. NOT Elite.

very poor decision making tonite by just about everyone to go along with a poor shooting night. haas just cant handle being pressured and we did much better without him. shame that taylor isnt healthy to see if he could at least provide some rim protection. cant keep coming out of the gate and getting behind by double figures. jekyll and hyde team.

sorry if i did a double post (as i am seeing).....
it really sucks when you are dealing with texts from sibs about a dementia parent.....

somethings are SO much more important than if Purdue won a basketball game....

Lost in the exact same fashion to the exact same type of team as they always lose to...a more athletic team that can(and always does) break them down and hit open (and often easy) shots. This team is no better defensively than others before it...it actually is worse without someone to defend the rim and erase the mistakes that are made like Hammons provided.
So by saying it was "unaddressed" you mean we didn't get new players for this year..........cause that's what it comes down to. Painter is recruiting more athletic players as he knows we are lacking. It takes time.
There's an adjective for athletic teams that beat people off the dribble and make shots (they're all easy according to you). It's called good and they win games.

If it was just good (or better) teams that did it, so be it...but UALR did it as well...and so have other teams...Purdue lacks athleticism in a big way, and, it is not good at stopping dribble/drive penetration, and it is not good at it regardless of the quality of the opponent provided they have a legit solid guard capable of putting the ball on the floor and getting to the basket (and it has been that way all the way back to when VCU abused them repeatedly in the NCAA tournament when the one guy that could stop/prevent it (Barlow) was out).

ND was more the Irish completely folding in the second half. That game should have never of been close. Minnesota is more of what you should expect from Purdue.

I just don't see how the players aren't ashamed. What I have seen out of Purdue is beta male basketball. Minnesota alpha male gamed Purdue. Purdue just did not care to defend them. I compare it to Butler. When Nova comes to Purdue they win. When Nova goes to Butler they lose by double digits. Anger is the only way to win and we certainly don't play with that emotion. How do you come out 17-3 losing on your home court to a team you are favored to beat by 15 points? A young team. What mentality is that?
