Yes, for our and his own recruiting purposes there needs to be a quick resolution here. If he doesn't take calls until after Thanksgiving,he's leaving himself less than a month to put together a class before the early signing window.
The right thing for us to do would be to get a preemptive offer ready. If he will not consider or sign it at this point, its not a good sign.

I think it is too soon for him to leave. Would be pretty surprised if he does. I do think it is important to our program to get this quickly resolved one way or another. If he quickly turns down Louisville it will show that he is committed to our program for more than just a stepping stone. And if he does in fact leave, we can at least begin doing the repairs to our program as soon as possible. Can Drew coach?

Exactly right. There's already been conversations taking place, not in an official 'ask permission' capacity, but this is a big time business decision for everyone involved. It's like a political lobbyist talking to the lawmakers in private.
I wonder if MBob and Daniels have a sit down with JB this week and just ask him point blank "Are you staying or going?". I don't think the answer will be "It depends", because in that case, MBob will say "Name your price".

No, that was just Minnesota snow killing our speed thus allowing Minnesota size to outmuscle us. If the weather was not so bad, we would have rattle their lines and have our ways with them. I expect our coaches make adjustments in both coaching and recruiting; one needs an adequate size to win consistently in B1G.
Something was up and it wasn't just the "cold" in MN. That is just hunch on my part nothing more. I'm thinking CJB had knowledge on Saturday, it leaked internally (coaches) and players got wind of it. Nothing was known by anyone, but internal turmoil showed up and that is how poorly we played.
Today, Brohm has likely had 2 days to sleep on the subject. Mitch & Mike have both discussed with Coach Brohm to see where he is at so they could wait his answer. We'll know at this teleconference or later today what is happening so that both Universities can start making & finalizing their plans. This won't last a week as Wisconsin will pound us like MN just did. Not good to keep our team guessing and wondering if their coaches are all going to caravan to U of L.
It's very coincidental to say the least. I mean we play probably the worst game of the season and then this all comes out? It just lines up too well for my liking.

I agree with this. Plus this isn't the first time they've had a game where they played flat. Besides why would you play uninspired with so much on the line? At the time Big Ten west was up for grabs and bowl eligibility hasn't been secured yet. I would think regardless of what was going on with Brohm, the players would at least have some sense of pride and fight for their goals. Especially the older ones. And like you said, if he told them something,someone would have probably slipped up on social media
Perfectly fine with your opinion. I'm fine with mine as well. Any organization going thru a Change be it real or Potential will have personnel not focused on tasks at hand. That is what I saw on Saturday and aligns with the timing of these events. UL vs Syracuse was 11/9 and the formality of firing was Sunday a.m. The reality was CJB was contacted on Saturday he talked with coaches to have an awareness (some wagged their tongues) and we saw the result on the field. The butt kicking we took in MN was worse than MSU & Rutgers in 2017. Our players were not only flat, they looked lost.
